Summary:
W.E. Timmerman Company Inc., a well-established 81-year-old equipment dealership specializing in heavy equipment for New Jersey’s ever growing municipal, contractor, and utility markets is currently recruiting for an ideal candidate to assist in field service management.
Essential Functions:
-Assist with the maintenance development of service field management software
-Support service manager and field technicians with ongoing application of mobile software
-Evaluate customer service needs
-Assist with billing, warranty administration and inventory control
-Schedule and update service job processes accurately and efficiently
Qualifications:
-Some mechanical aptitude
-Must be self-driven, energetic, and have a passion for customer interaction
-Computer skills are required. (Salesforce and/or SAGE experience a plus)
-Service writing experience a plus
-Ability to quickly absorb and retain product knowledge and service requirements
-Excellent communication and customer service skills a must
-Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and service technicians
