Ford Medium Duty Truck Technicians and Transmission Technicians

Tindol Ford Commercial Truck Center is looking for Ford Certified diesel technicians and Transmission Technicians to join our team. Must have Ford Dealership experience. We are family owned, in business since 1974. We are Gaston County's largest heavy duty fleet center. Our commercial truck shop allows us to service much larger trucks, from F-250s to F750s, as well as recreational vehicles, work trucks, ambulances, limousines, church and airport shuttle vans and more.

Job duties include but not limited to:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicates efficiently with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Re-inspects work performed prior to returning a vehicle
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat. Workbenches and tool boxes must be free of clutter

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ford diesel experience required
• Ford certification, desired
• Valid driver’s license
• Diagnosing & repairing DIESEL vehicles
• Knowledge of Cummins engines a PLUS
