If you are tired of working at a Center where you feel like you are just a number, this center will make your life better. We are growing as a business and family. The business model is based off of staff. Happy staff= Happy kids= Happy parents.

The center is less than 100 children which is manageable, and we like to keep staff under ratio. There is support and you are not left alone. We are off the week between Christmas and New year’s every year for paid vacation if you are here for 3 months.

After 1 year of being here there is a one-week paid vacation along with the paid week off between Christmas and New Years. Also, 3 Institute days during the year not including regular holidays. Not to mention bonus's based off performance. The harder you work the more you can make. The owners are around and will take the time to talk to you if needed and jump in.

As a Child Care Teacher, you will:

  • Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and needs.
  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.
  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 19 years of age.
  • You must also meet one of the three qualification scenarios below.

1) Must meet state requirements to be Teacher Qualified in the State of IL: 1) 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester hours with nine of the quarter hours in courses related directly to childcare and/or development from birth to age 6.

-OR-

2) 1 year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten or licensed day care center AND 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester or 9 quarter hours in courses related directly to childcare and/or child development from birth to age 6.

-OR-

3)Completion of credential programs approved by the Department in accordance with Appendix G, otherwise known as CDA.

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
