Breakfast Attendant
Our hotel is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Breakfast Attendant.
A successful candidate for a breakfast attendant is someone who has impeccable people skills, who is attentive and is motivated in a fast-paced environment. The responsibilities of this position include preparing breakfast food, serving, and cleaning up after service. Additionally, the attendant must ensure that the buffet is always stocked with fresh food.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing, setting up, and disassembling the breakfast according to brand standards, food safety standards and hotel best practices.
- Ensuring that all food, drink, and supply, items are stocked.
- Interacting with guests, responding to any questions or complaints, and clearing eating areas.
- Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the breakfast area. This includes sanitizing surfaces, doing dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, etc.
- Assist with inventory, ordering and stocking.
- Remove garbage and trash.
Position Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent with previous experience within the hospitality industry.
- Understanding of food safety and handling guidelines
- Must possess the physical ability to work in a demanding position that requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Being able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Reaching, bending, carrying, stooping throughout the entire shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to safely use them.
- Report safety hazards, accidents, and injuries immediately.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to remain organized, multitask, and maintain a friendly disposition while communicating with staff and customers.
- Serv Safe training preferred.

- This hotel operates seven (7) days a week and twenty- four (24) hours per day. All employees, both management and hourly must realize this fact and be willing to hold a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
