Position Summary

While maintaining a high-quality installation level, you will also be responsible for minor structural and cosmetic repairs, color matching and paint application, site cleanup, and the ability to provide excellent customer service to our customers.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid state driver's license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Background check required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Construction experience: 2 years experience preferred
  • Stucco Experience: 1 year experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
  • Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Stucco Experience: 1 year experience preferred
  • Solar installation experience
  • Roofing/Electrical/construction experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Job Duties:

  • The production expectation of this role is 5 successful completed stucco projects per week minimum
  • Maintains a high-quality of installation
  • Loads and unloads materials
  • Performs job site cleanup
  • Makes minor structural and cosmetic repairs as needed
  • May organize equipment in warehouse and/or office
  • Maintains compliance with all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company standards
  • Set up scaffolds and prepare surfaces to be covered
  • Mix substances or compounds such as cement and stucco to apply it to surfaces
  • Apply coats of stucco to walls or partitions of buildings
  • Add protective layers to finish with different textures as needed including sand, pebbles, or stones
  • Determine materials needed to complete the job and place orders accordingly
  • Estimate needed materials for projects
  • Install guide wires on exterior surfaces of buildings to indicate the thickness of stucco and nail wire mesh, lath, or similar materials to the outside surface to hold stucco in place
  • Apply insulation to building exteriors by installing prefabricated insulation systems over existing walls or by covering the outer wall with insulation board, reinforcing mesh, and a base coat
  • Rough the undercoat surface with a scratcher so the finish coat will adhere
  • In addition, you may be given other or different assignments as directed by your supervisor or necessitated by companies' business needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (for example; hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
