Warehouse Lead

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate and work successfully with internal departments as well as customers and suppliers
• Effectively lead safety meetings for the team with the highest regard for safety procedures and requirements
• Responsible for cycle count process
• Responsible for management of inventory
• Works with quality and customer service of tracking and process freight claims, product returns, and other related inventory transactions
• Functional and ready to support in all warehouse processes
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management
• Lead to improve communication between the warehouse, procurement/purchasing and production
• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
• Ensure all employees are working safely and efficiently, making sure product is handled appropriately
• Responsible for training new or current staff on new equipment and procedures
• Utilize knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to achieve and improve warehouse metrics
• Work in team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Meet all safety requirements

Skills Required:

• Proven leadership ability
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced team environment
• Working knowledge of software including material resource planning, “MRP” and distribution resource planning, “DRP” processes
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Education & Experience required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years manufacturing or warehouse experience

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Salary : $21 - $18
