Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the floor staff, including servers
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures
- Create employee schedules and ensure proper coverage during shifts
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Coordinate demo/sampling events and oversee their successful execution
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in restaurant management or hospitality management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff members
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during operations
