What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Designer position at TKE Engineering & Design?
TKE Engineering & Design, Inc., a recognized leader in the design, procurement, and construction of Mid-stream Solutions for the Oil & Gas Industry, is currently seeking an experienced piping designer responsible for modeling meter sites and compressor stations.
- Strong AutoCAD & CadWorx skills and knowledge
- Pipe modeling
- Isometric extraction
- Equipment modeling
- Develop 3d model designs and layouts for compressor stations & meter sites
- Review vendor drawings and information.
- Work with other departments as well as disciplines to resolve design conflicts (e.g. pipe routing/support and or clashes with other model objects).
- 3 years designing experience
- Ability to create drawings with accuracy, completeness, and conformance to applicable design drafting standards
- Knowledge and understanding of work flow/information flow between disciplines.
- Drawing package comprehension
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Very detail-oriented
- Ability to pass a CAD test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
