Execution of the planned and preventative maintenance schedule.
Responsible for troubleshooting by applying critical thinking skills to identify, diagnose, and repair equipment problems.
Must be able to analyze and understand blueprints, schematics, layout plans, and other materials.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner.
Maintain all equipment, tools, and workstations.
Ability to utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability.
Maintain logs, and recorded labor, materials, and equipment used.
Effectively communicate to all team members and management any equipment deficiencies.
Meticulous attention to detail; able to follow instructions both written and verbal.
Participate in breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, focused improvement, and 5s projects.
Ensure workers adhere to local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
Minimum 7 years relevant work experience as a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic required.
Minimum 3 years of Plant Manufacturing Experience.
Ability to work independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, and Working at Heights Policies.
OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
Experience with MiG and stick welding.
Exceptional Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all tasks, jobs, and repairs.
Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts and work in confined spaces.
Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lifting 50 pounds required.

Medical - Employee premiums are paid to a total of $500 per month. (this covers employees only and some children/spouses if that coverage is chosen).
