APPRENTICE MOLD MAKER
A Top Plastic Injection Molding Company that is a full-spectrum interconnect manufacturer. This Company is a great place to work where ability and diligence are recognized and rewarded. This position is full-time and includes medical insurance and other benefits.
Mold Maker Essential Functions:
- · Repairs plastic injection molds and die cast tools.
- · Sets up and operates all standard tool room equipment including conventional mills, lathes, surface grinders, and sinker EDM’s.
- · Polishes mold and die components.
- · Assembles and disassembles die cast tools and plastic injection molds.
- · Verifies dimensional accuracy of part detail.
- · Periodic maintenance of die cast tools and plastic injection molds.
- · Takes direction from and interfaces with tool makers, die cast personnel, plastic injection personnel, and tooling engineers.
- · Maintains work areas and tooling to ensure a clean and safe environmen
Mols Maker Qualifications:
- CNC experience is a big Plus
- Hass and MASTER Cam aplus
- · Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- · Two years of experience in a tool room building or repairing tight-tolerance die cast tools or plastic injection molds required.
- · Experience with conventional machine tools required.
- · Strong shop-math and computational skills.
- · Ability to use standard inspection tools.
- · Good communication skills.
- · High school diploma or equivalent.
- · Some trade school, vocational training or relevant college-level coursework preferred.
- · Ability to maneuver heavy loads using appropriate lifting equipment required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
