Description
Supervision and Direction: Grounds person will be under the direct supervision of the Site Manager and will coordinate their daily activities with that person. They will comply with the established policies and procedures that may be imposed from time to time. In the absence of the Site Manager, another designated employee will provide supervision and direction.
Requirements
This position is responsible for the physical condition of the property and grounds. The right person will have a proactive attitude and takes pride in their accomplishments. Being a motivated self-starter and having a strong attention to detail are essential in order to display a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work 25 hours per week.
- Assures that the grounds are well groomed and free of trash, debris and hazards.
- Assures that walkways are clean and clear of hazards.
- Trims, prunes and shapes various trees, bushes, shrubs and plants, as directed by supervisor.
- Responsible with snow removal efforts during the winter months.
- Maintains outside water lines and equipment as necessary.
- Assisting maintenance with trash outs.
