Progressive Coating is a unique industrial custom coating company providing a wide range of custom coating services, processes, and materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
• Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
• Understands and performs to all quality regulations, standards and policies, including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016.
• Aids in ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100:2016 audits.
• Recommends and specifies instrumentation, calibration and gauging needs.
• Interprets drawings and verifies requirements as applicable to production / prepare PPAP documentation.
• Confers with Progressive Coating personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
• Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures throughout production cycle.
• Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
• Works with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts for company use.
• Creates and directs environmental test functions.
• Plays active role on quality management teams within organization.
• Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.
• Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
• Participates in team meetings as required (safety, problem solving, etc.).
