ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
Education:
Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing Program.
License:
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. State or Territory.
Certificate:
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain certification.
Emergency Department (ED): Obtain valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and maintain certification. Obtain valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months from date of hire and maintain certification. Obtain valid Emergency Nurse Association certification in Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) within one (1) year from date of hire and maintain certification. Obtain valid Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one (1) year from date of hire and maintain certification.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Obtain valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months from date of hire and maintain certification.
Obstetrics Unit (OBU): Obtain valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months from date of hire and maintain certification. Or Obtain valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) within six (6) months from date of hire and maintain certification. Obtain valid Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within three (3) months from date of hire and maintain certification. Obtain valid Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) within three (3) months from date of hire and maintain certification.
