Salary Range: $15.45 - $18.24/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with scheduling educational classes for clinical programs.
- Conducts fitness consultations and/or presentations and orients patients who fall within two (2) specific categories: low risk (those undiagnosed or free from chronic disease) and high risk (those who display multiple risk factors or are diagnosed with chronic disease, such as diabetes).
- Provides basic fitness form and exercise technique instruction to members/patients.
- Assists/independently monitors fitness center and all gym equipment.
- Ensures all members, patients, employees, and visitors are compliant with all Wellness Center guidelines/policies.
- Provides oversight of all patients, members, visitors and staff during high trafficked hours.
- Responds to emergent situations within facility and activates command system when necessary.
- Cleans fitness facility and all machines/equipment daily, while logging date/time of when it occurred.
- Performs, reports, and documents general maintenance duties including but not limited to restocking supplies, floor monitoring, cleaning, re-racking weights, inventory, etc.
- Reports and documents all safety and quality concerns per FDIHB guidelines, communicates all concerns in a timely manner to Fitness Specialist lead and Wellness Supervisor(s).
- Work collaboratively with all Wellness Center staff.
- Assists in wellness programs and projects as assigned by leads and supervisor.
- Engages in performance improvement projects and initiatives as assigned by staff, leads or supervisors.
- Provides support to Wellness Department in achieving Wellness Center & Division strategic goals.
- Participates in departmental quality monitoring reporting.
- Assists Administrative & Membership Specialist and Clinical supervisor with admin duties, during non-busy hours, such as daily schedules, orientation tours, inventory, etc.
- Models healthy and professional behavior at all times.
- Learns all Wellness Center processes including but not limited to front desk assistance, group fitness class set-up, orientations, closing procedures, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: One (1) year of direct work experience.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency (HSE)
