Reporting to the Sr Manager/Manager, Accounts Receivable, the Sr Analyst, Accounts Receivable will work within the Order to Cash (OTC) team to initially assist in implementing new areas within the Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) Magenta Services group to develop continuous operational improvements, procedure documentation, and reports to achieve industry standard methodologies.

Applying strong analytical and customer service skills, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for:
• Meeting OTC targets.
• Maximizing cash flow with a clear strategy for managing assigned portfolio of clients and revenue streams.
• Working closely with both internal and external partners to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensuring invoice accuracy by reviewing and confirming that billing data conforms to specifications prescribed by the contract or established business rules.

This position may also be responsible and provide support for:
• Performing credit and collections related tasks including managing escalations, resolving deductions and disputes, and performing audits.
• Executing credit and collections related tasks including resolving any budget and controls related escalations.
• Periodic and timely credit review and analysis on all assigned accounts.
• Ensuring that credit risk ratings on accounts are appropriate and that actions recommended are in the best interest of T-Mobile.
• Credit limit actions on portfolio of accounts and regularly make recommendations regarding the appropriate and timely actions to mitigate risk.
• Participate in projects in various stages playing the role of an OTC expert.

The successful expert analyst must be an efficient self-starter with an ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Familiarly with using SAP/ERP, Infosys, and Concentrix preferred.

This position must be adept at leading meetings with business partners, ensuring that all issues and concerns are identified and resolved in an amicable and professional manner. This role is also expected to mentor other positions within the OTC team in all aspects of credit and collections and functions as a leader.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Periodic and timely credit review and analysis on all assigned accounts. Ensures that credit risk ratings on accounts are appropriate and that actions recommended are in the best interest of T-Mobile.
  • Interact with Retail Partners, Sales, Legal, and Contract Administration
  • Escalation/communication among TMO team members, both inside of the department and outside.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance or accounting

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Experience of ease with collecting and negotiating.
  • 4-7 years General understanding of business and consumer credit.
  • Experience with SAP.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Bankruptcy (Preferred)
