Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Architect, design, build, implement and test solutions in Salesforce.com leveraging Force.com, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, VisualForce, APEX, Web Services, and APIs.
Support cross systems integrations across native Salesforce eco system, as well as first-party APIs and data centers using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs.
Support enhancement of DevOps processes and tools including scrum, user support, platform security, quality/ version control, and CI/CD.
Work closely with BI teams to inject data from Hadoop and Teradata into Salesforce using ETL tools.
Design and develop Datasets, Lenses, Recipes and dynamic Dashboards to highlight critical performance metrics and trends for Retail.
Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications or User Stories.
Interact with business partners, product teams and end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and interactions with internal Salesforce instances.
Communicate design, requirements, functionality, and limitations of systems & applications and lead review sessions for technical specifications.
Collaborate with team to debug and diagnose complex defects, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend resolutions.
Provide on-call and after hours support as required for production releases and support on production outages.
Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Skill requirements:
Requires experience in each of the following skills:
Using LWC (Lightning Web Components), ECMA 7 standards, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL and external APIs.
Working with Event driven architecture using platform events, Change data capture & PUB/Sub events and build Error logging and Monitoring frame works in salesforce
Using Object Oriented Programming within Salesforce using APEX, PMD, and Checkmarx.
Working with Git Version Control Systems and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows within Salesforce using Copado and Jenkins.
Using Salesforce OmniStudio/Vlocity and Angular 1.6.
Additional Requirement: Salesforce Certifications in “Application Architect”, “Data Architect”, “Platform App Builder”, “Platform Developer II”, "Sharing and Visibility Architect".
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, or related and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, or related and 5 years of relevant work experience.
