TMS America, an employment agency is currently seeking Administrative Assistant for an airline client located in Torrance, CA. This position is full-time and direct-hire.
Location: Torrance, CA
Shift: 8 hour shift between 5:00AM to 6:00PM, including weekends and holidays
Compensation: $16.00/HR (during probation); $16.50/HR (upon completion of probation) excellent benefits
This position is responsible for providing administrative functions and supporting the Customer Service Contact Center operations.
Job duties include:
- Perform administrative and human resource management functions
- Perform system support functions
- Handles general inquiry calls
Requirements:
- Ability to work shifts, and work weekends and holidays
- Good dependability record
- Basic understanding of computer system and telephone system
- Ability to operate interactive computer terminals and telephone equipment such as handsets and headsets for long periods of time
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and basic Microsoft Access knowledge
- Knowledge of database structure is preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Reading comprehension skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Listening skills
