Position Title: Military Outreach Specialist
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to military installations
Position Type: 1099 Contract
Schedule: Flexible, aligning with the availability of military personnel
Pay: $48,000 - $96,000 per year (Commission-Based)

Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and Implement Social Media Strategies: Develop and execute social media strategies to engage military-affiliated communities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  2. Content Creation and Distribution: Create and distribute engaging content tailored to military personnel, veterans, and their families across various social media platforms.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, relevant messaging for all military outreach efforts, fostering strong relationships and strategic partnerships.
  4. Support Communication Initiatives: Highlight events, resources, and partnerships relevant to military personnel and veterans through various communication channels.
  5. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with military organizations and partners to expand social media reach and impact.
  6. Utilize Social Media Analytics: Use analytics tools to track performance metrics and audience insights specific to military outreach, providing regular reports on engagement and effectiveness.
  7. Optimize Strategies with Data-Driven Insights: Continuously optimize social media strategies using data-driven insights to enhance engagement outcomes.
  8. Support Military Transitions: Act as a primary support for active-duty service members, veterans, and military spouses, assisting them in their transition to civilian careers through personalized coaching and career planning services.
  9. Advocate for the Program: Advocate for the program within military communities and to external stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert on military transition processes.
  10. Monitor and Report Outreach Effectiveness: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts targeting military stakeholders, adjusting improve engagement and impact.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven Experience with Military-Affiliated Institutions: Experience working with military-affiliated institutions or organizations, particularly in recruitment or outreach roles.
  2. Deep Understanding of Military Culture and Veteran Affairs: Comprehensive knowledge of military culture and veteran affairs, with the ability to effectively engage and support military personnel and veterans transitioning to civilian life.
  3. Data Collection and Interpretation Skills: Ability to collect, interpret, and present data to inform recruitment strategies and improve platform features.
  4. Proficiency with CRM Platforms: Skilled in using CRM platforms and conducting research to support strategic outreach initiatives.
  5. Superior Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders within the military community.
  6. Ability to Build Rapport and Trust: Proven ability to build rapport and foster trust with military personnel and veterans.
  7. Self-Driven and Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work independently in a virtual environment, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
  8. Experience Meeting Outreach Quotas: Proven track record of meeting outreach quotas in a fast-paced setting.
  9. Alignment with Organizational Mission and Values: Strong alignment with the mission and values of TMSR, showing a commitment to supporting military personnel, military spouses, and veterans.
  10. Enthusiasm for Organizational Goals: Genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the organization's goals and objectives.
