What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDS Mail Carrier - Part Time position at TNStumpff Enterprises?
TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 19 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Pensacola, FL area.
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age with a valid Florida driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 316 active boxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
- Delivering mail along an assigned 32.9-mile line-of-travel.
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
- Other administrative duties are required.
- Applicant MUST furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
- One (1) Dependable vehicle or the equivalent that provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
- $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
- The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.
Employment Begins: ASAP
- Hours: Day Shift - PART TIME – Generally, 1 day/week
- 8:00am – 1:15pm*
- Pay: $24.31**/hour
- *Start and End time may vary.
- **Straight time, Health & Welfare, & Holiday paid out. Benefits paid as cash equivalency in hourly pay up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act. **
- **Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
