TPI is now one of the most qualified renewable energy companies in the nation with more utility scale projects than any Arkansas based company.
Summary/Purpose
Control Room Personnel will be tasked with monitoring all aspects of the solar and BESS projects post commissioning. This consists of scheduling preventive maintenance, monitoring all systems for possible issues, and providing a solution when an issue does occur. This position is also a point of contact for customers/clientele/vendors once the project is complete.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Scheduling preventive maintenance to reduce potential system issues.
• Help build monitoring system equipment for all solar, BESS, and EV charging project sites.
• Commission solar, BESS, and EV charging projects post construction.
• Monitor all solar, BESS, and EV charging projects after commissioning.
• Diagnose issues remotely; at times will instruct techs on how to resolve the issue.
• Help maintain TPI’s work order system.
• Promptly updating customers/clients on any system issues.

Qualifications

Preferred Education/Experience
• High School Diploma and 3 years related experience or training in IT, utilities, or renewable energy industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Understanding of a wide range of IT systems. This includes both hardware and software.
• Ability to multitask and delegate tasks to others appropriately.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of solar, BESS, and EV charging systems.
• Understanding of remote monitoring systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None at this time.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
• Will spend majority of time stationary sitting and viewing monitors from both up close and at a distance.
• Occasional periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time.
