A Router / Dispatcher is responsible for the routing for a designated fleet/region. It is their primary function to effectively, and efficiently, maximize the capabilities of our operational assets and drivers.

A Router / Dispatcher is responsible for the routing for a designated fleet/region. It is their primary function to effectively, and efficiently, maximize the capabilities of our operational assets and drivers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily Responsibility for routing service stops through work order audit, and order volume from customer service / sales.
- Management /updating service routes for the service drivers on a daily basis.
- Create and maintain synergies with operations to maintain route density and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with Operations to assist in driver training of onboard apps used with daily routes.
- Manually creating routing efficiencies to adhere to customer needs, management of “one off” occurrences writhing route development
- Responsible for management of daily reporting from the locations, maintaining of asset reports, and data point deemed important.
- Accounting knowledge.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be professional, self-motivated and possess strong computer skills.
- Ability to learn a new system quickly.
- Mapping and service routing software experience a plus
- Experience within load planning and/or route based transportation a plus.
