Pay Range (Approximate): $16.00 - $22.00 per hour (※Range includes Tips)

Hourly Rate = $16.00 tips. Tips are pooled and split among all hourly staff.
Flexible schedule available.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and guest service-oriented individual for the position of Restaurant Server to join our team at Tokyo Katsu Curry in Costa Mesa. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a crucial role in providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. Training is provided, but if you already have some restaurant or customer service skills or experience that is a plus.

The successful candidate will have availability to work throughout the year. Opportunities for advancement to leadership positions are available based on merit, skill and ability.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
• Explain and take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner
• Buss tables as needed
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Ensure that tables are properly set and maintained throughout the meal
• Respond to guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Process payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the restaurant as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a server/server in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred, but not required. (quick serve, casual, fine dining, etc.)
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus, but not required
