Application support Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. This includes troubleshooting enterprise applications and software for all internal users.
• Perform ongoing administration of enterprise applications such as object configuration, field maintenance, user activation/deactivation, user permissioning, and backups.
• Assist in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications, training programs, and related courseware.
• Assist in user acceptance testing of enterprise applications.
• Train internal users 1-on-1 or in groups ranging from 2-40 people on a recurring basis.
• Monitor user support tickets within IT support ticketing system related to enterprise applications and provide first/second level support as required.
• Communicate effectively in non-technical terms with staff to troubleshoot issues and bring to resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Must consent to and have favorable consumer report, background check and drug/alcohol test.
• Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality in dealing with client matters.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years financial services experience a plus.
• Ability to "multi-task", manage several projects at one time, with consistent follow through to completion.
• High aptitude for learning and becoming proficient in business software.
• High customer service mentality.
• Strong interest in process improvement.
• Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
• Experience with troubleshooting Windows based computers.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
• Familiarity with MS Visio a plus.
• Familiarity with databases and object-oriented design a plus.
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
