What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Scheduler position at Tolmar?
Core Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-330pm (may be subject to change, but will remain on 1st shift)
Location: Currently in Fort Collins but may change to Windsor
Purpose and Scope
Under minimal supervision, the Warehouse Scheduler manages the physical and administrative tasks involved in the scheduling of Warehouse workflow, facilitates batch record distribution and the release of batch records as it relates to the daily schedule. Works closely with Master Scheduler to coordinate the warehouse schedule to ensure the production cycle is uninterrupted.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assign and communicate daily tasks and current priorities to warehouse personnel to ensure all tasks are completed as needed to meet production needs.
- Evaluate the impact and effectively communicate schedule changes as they occur.
- Create reports and summarization of historical data to be used for analysis, decision making and process improvements as it pertains to completion of batch records.
- Act as an expediter to ensure all materials and Batch records needed are available by the required timing to meet the production plan.
- Perform investigations for all inventory discrepancies.
- Participate in ordering and purchasing standard stock items, including recommending additions or deletions or ordering replenishments within established procedures and limits.
- Assist Material Handlers with activities as required.
- Perform necessary trips to other Tolmar facilities as needed.
- Initiates communication with multiple departments to ensure the execution of the Production schedule

- Ability to work extended shifts and any required overtime.
- Ability to remain focused and prioritize tasks both within a day and throughout a work week.
- Ability to follow written production records and validation protocols.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices or cGMPs.
- Knowledge of and ability to understand production and supply chain terminology.
- Knowledge in MS Office Programs (Excel, Access, Word) with advanced features and Smartsheet preferred.

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three or more years of experience in inventory control, shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification required.
- Valid CO Driver’s license required
- Acceptable MVR required.
Working Conditions
- Controlled indoor environment. Gowning to Tolmar’s Standard Operating Procedure requirements may include hairnet, shoe covers, lab jackets, nitrile or latex gloves, beard cover (if appropriate), safety glasses, and steel toed shoes.
- Extended hours and weekend work may be required.

- Pay: $23 - $24 per hour depending on experience
