Implementation Trainer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Conducting onsite and remote training sessions with new and existing customers.
• Providing direction and guidance to customers during periods of implementation and upgrade.
• Recommending workflows to customers to ensure successful delivery of software.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product development initiatives and trends in the transportation industry.
• Preparing training materials and handouts for customers.
• Assisting customers at annual McLeod Software User’s Conference.

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience on a year-for-year substitution
• Experience in an instructional capacity (teaching or previous training experience) preferred
• Travel Required: Minimum of 50-60% overnight travel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad range of customer end-users
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret trade publications, technical documentation, reports, and other documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, peers, or members of the business community. Ability to write communications and documentations grammatically correct for routine business correspondence.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions with abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and assisting clients with troubleshooting up to and including go live week.
