Job Description
We are looking for a Production Manager to drive process improvement and efficiency within our Day Shift Production team. This is a pivotal role, with a strong leadership and productivity focus as well as cross business collaboration. About the role
Reporting to our Site Manufacturing Manager, you will work closely with them to ensure on time delivery of our products and manage our current Team Leaders to ensure high levels of efficiency and progress transparency.
Ensure DIFOTIS and quality targets are met
Support accurate and timely production planning and capacity plans for short term and long term.
Work closely with Production Engineering and R&D to ensure the ongoing improvement of new and existing products, systems and processes. Identify suitable assembly aids to improve efficiency and accuracy
Lead/Participate in daily and weekly team meetings to provide accurate updates and support to team where required
Coordinate with Warehouse to facilitate parts supply
Qualifications
About you
Ideally you will have experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Having 3 years of experience leading teams in a production environment will be highly advantageous. Our ideal candidate will have a solutions focussed mind, driven by continuous improvements and that time and resource utilisation is maximised. A clear ability to establish rapport and develop and maintain ongoing relationships with various stakeholders. Clear experience in handling multiple projects, shifting priorities and demands promptly and efficiently.
