Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for identifying, cultivating, and stabilizing new sales opportunities to achieve sales and margin goals for our New Business Development Accounts. Responsible for building lasting relationships with new customers, soliciting new business across all product categories and is also responsible for selling and educating the customer base on Tomric capabilities and products. Finally, is accountable to achieve key metrics that support success for the growth of Tomric market wide relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
General Accountabilities:
· Informs customers on Tomric’s portfolio, promotions, and services available, assisting in the effort of growing the business.
Job Qualifications:
Required Skills
· Demonstrated determination to achieve ever-increasing level of performance involving setting high standards and challenging goals and requires a constant focus on achieving and exceeding those goals.
· Ability to analyze, understand, and document potential customer needs.
· Ability to prioritize prospects and then move them to purchase within the team environment.
· Ability to utilize CRM software for documentation of all sales activities and for scheduling planned activities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred Skills
· Minimum three (3) years related Sales experience.
· Knowledge of effective sales and negotiating techniques.
· Broad industry product knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
· Must wear appropriate PPE in designated areas.
· Required to stand for an extended period of time, walk or sit.
· Regularly required use hands and arms.
· Required to communicate/speak in English and possess basic math skills.
