Renowned Hairdressing brand TONI&GUY has an immediate opening for an Full Time or Part Time position of "Instructor" at our Marietta, GA TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy.
The ideal candidates must have a commitment to student success and maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times. They must also demonstrate superior communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities - General:
1. Provide course information by planning, preparing and delivering quality classroom
instruction at all levels of the hairdressing curriculum.
2. Conduct, evaluate, and implement course information that will meet standardized requirements of subject(s) taught.
3. Administer grades weekly.
4. Interact and maintain a high student retention rate based on organizational and regulatory expectations.
5. Demonstrate upbeat, professional conduct towards students, co-workers, and school patrons at all times.
6. Ensure that students and clients receive the TONI&GUY Spotlight Experience in all dealings with school personnel.
7. Comply with all Federal, State, accreditation and Academy policies and procedures.
8. Demonstrate leadership by taking responsibility for actions.
Minimum Requirement Desired:
1. State Cosmetology License.
2. State Cosmetology Instructor License.
3. 3-4 years’ experience as a hairdresser, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4. Cosmetology School experience is preferred.
5. Commitment to delivering outstanding customer experience.
6. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

3. Strong retail skills and product knowledge.
4. Excellent technical hairdressing, color, and cosmetology skills.

6. Desire to share knowledge and provide effective feedback to students; willingness to allow students to solve their clinical problems with excellent guidance.
7. Knowledge of State Board procedures.
8. Good group/classroom management skills. Ability to communicate directly to solve problems.
