Warehouse Supervisor

This position will work with the Director of Operations to ensure efficienct management of our warehouse, receiving, storage and delivery operations. Managing a crew of up to five people responsible for:

• Receiving furniture shipments for Interior Designers and Retailers.
• Inspecting furniture, photographing and communicating/documenting any discrepancy or damage.
• Tracking pieces via barcoding software.
• Coordinating/scheduling repairs as necessary.
• Pulling orders for delivery.
• Managing inventory reports for billing.
• Train, develop and manage all warehouse staff

• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as necessary.
• Managing and tracking the maintenance needs of the company fleet.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Experience in warehouse management procedures and best practices

• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

• Leadership skills and ability manage staff

• Reporting skills, Analyzing information

• Excellent communication skills

• 2 plus years' of experience with shipping and receiving and/or in warehouse supervision

• 2 years of supervisory experience

• Proactive problem solving ability

• Strong judgment and decision-making ability

• Communicating clearly in both oral and written form.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
