Department: Client Engagement

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Bellingham, WA

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 / year

Description

At Toolhouse, we are fundamentally changing how leading life sciences companies use technology to build meaningful connections with patients and physicians. What we do isn’t possible without our super-smart team of passionate thinkers and dedicated doers. We are striving to make Toolhouse the best place to work for our deserving team. As we grow, we are looking for individuals that are not only strong in their own areas of expertise but also who care deeply about Toolhouse, our people, and our vision.

We are looking for just the right person who is both a quick study and a go-getter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has an exceptional eye to detail. You are an excellent communicator who doesn’t back away from uncomfortable situations. You will dig in deep to learn new things on your own, and your work is thorough, timely and professional.  You feel a strong sense of pride in being able to support those around you, and others would describe you as reliable, self-motivated (and motivational), and solution-focused.

Account Managers are responsible for delivering high quality service and coordination activities throughout the lifecycle of Toolhouse projects. Working closely with project managers and account directors, they play a key role in facilitating effective communication between internal Toolhouse project teams, client-side project stakeholders, and other outside agencies that have also partnered with the client.

An account manager’s primary areas of focus are:
1)    Delivering projects that meet business objectives identified at the outset of a project
2)    Supporting clients in their day-to-day communication about Toolhouse projects within their organizations
3)    Ensuring project contributors have what they need to keep projects moving forward

Here’s what you’ll be doing in your first year:

  • In your first few months, you’ll develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business, products, processes, and market landscape, as well as the ins and outs of Toolhouse digital work and processes. You will form productive working relationships with your partners on cross-functional internal teams as well as your direct contacts within the client’s organization. As part of this onboarding, you will get to know the basics of client operations and day to day needs to facilitate efficient projects.
  • You will become a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring Toolhouse team members have the information and assets they need to maintain progress on assigned projects. You will be a driving force in representing client needs and business goals at every stage of project execution.
  • You will provide support to Toolhouse Account Directors in meeting client business objectives and achieving high levels of client satisfaction, while also supporting Project Managers in delivering projects within scope and on schedule
  • You will take ownership of select digital initiatives and play a lead role in driving them to completion, including aligning with client business goals, intersecting with related projects or initiatives, and maintaining open lines of communication amongst all stakeholders.
  • You will also participate in shaping project strategies and tactics that deliver desired results for a client, support development of project documentation or presentations, and contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions.
  • You will collaborate with the Account Director and internal stakeholders on ongoing account planning to ensure all opportunities and challenges within an assigned client are understood, solutions identified, and that the account is being supported in a successful manner.
  • Finally, you will maintain strong and knowledge of current and evolving technology trends and actively participate in knowledge exchanges with peers.
