Autobody Combo Tech

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Combo Technician to join our team. We are a smaller shop but very fast paced and stay very busy. Day to day tasks will be a little bit of everything as a combo tech, and helping each other is a huge key to a successful shop. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

-Possible Commision pay, which would be considered based off performance and skill set.

-Hours may vary from 8-10 per day. depending on daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

-Wet sanding and buffing

-Prepping parts

-Fitting and adjusting parts as needed
- Perform auto body repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Repair or replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
- Conduct frame straightening using appropriate tools and equipment
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete repairs
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks as required
- Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and safety guidelines
- Clean work space

-Understanding tasks that need to be completed on a day to day basis

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of auto repair techniques are a plus
- Experience working in a body shop setting is preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
