The Ecommerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the ecommerce department for our DTC skincare brand with a significant online presence. They will handle decision-making for the website, email marketing and ecommerce growth. They will also be responsible for research and development of new online marketing strategies.
Website Design The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed. They will perform heat map studies and user testing to determine the site is optimized for a positive consumer experience.
Website Merchandising The ecommerce manager must have a basic understanding of CSS and HTML and be able to effectively and efficiently update website landing pages, website features, and apps.
Website Monitoring and Management The ecommerce manager will be responsible for monitoring the website multiple times a day and ensuring that all campaigns are effectively driving traffic to the site, that conversions are occurring, and to clear any bugs that may develop.
Research and Development The Ecommerce Manager will keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world. They will also research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys.
