MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I
Are you ready to kick-start your learning journey into a maintenance career with a rapidly growing beverage manufacturer? Torani is seeking a maintenance technician apprentice who is eager and willing to learn how our maintenance team supports the overall facility and production at our Flavory Factory. With your hands-on problem-solving skills and ability to come up with effective resolutions to issues that arise, you can work alongside your maintenance team to keep production running smoothly.

For almost 100 years we’ve been reimagining how to flavor beverages and we’re looking for our next maintenance technician apprentice to bring their practical maintenance knowledge to support the maintenance team and production.
SUCCESS FACTORS (12- 18 months):
- Maintenance Bench Strength: Coming to Torani with a baseline of technical knowledge mixed with eagerness to learn you will develop a large "tool-belt" of industrial maintenance skills and experience. You will be an epicenter of knowledge in motors, vision systems, filling & packaging equipment, and more! As you develop), you will start to navigate complex mechanical challenges, identify the root causes of issues, and provide the right solutions or know when to ask for help to find the right solutions.
- Production Line Support: Machinery acting up? No problem! You will have learned to diagnose issues quickly and correctly apply root-cause analysis and generate scalable solutions. With a good pulse on the needs of production, you will effectively prioritize and complete work orders for Manufacturing and Quality Assurance, alongside your fellow maintenance team members. Line calls are answered with a high level of urgency, and equipment issues are thoroughly & accurately resolved to support our production needs—resulting in our machines consistently purring with happiness!
- Continuous Improvement: Status quo, heck no! As a passionate advocate for innovation, your unwavering commitment revolves around supporting the maintenance team with resilient processes and enhancements. Your goal is to ensure production lines are running well and important metrics for maintenance and production are met. Through your day you actively engage in using continuous improvement principles (AM, 5S, RCA’s) to help move the business forward.
- Constant Learner and Growth Mindset: Your curious mindset drives you to learn not just about your function in the production process, but about the entire production and how you can best support. You’re always eager to take on new tasks and continue your professional and personal growth with Torani.
- Safety: As a role model for safety, lock out tag out, machine guarding, and other safety procedures are always followed, and you assist in training new manufacturing team members on these processes. You also maintain safe workplace practices in chemical safety, confined space, hot work, electrical and more! Potential hazards are clearly identified and communicated to maintenance, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sanitation teams.

Attributes and Qualifications
- Vocational or technical schooling preferred
- Experience working in a maintenance function (industrial maintenance) preferred
- Willingness to learn new processes and total productive maintenance methodologies
- Detailed and investigative mindset
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
