What you’ll do:
As our Internal Communications Manage, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to connect our team to our mission, share corporate strategy messages, and help create an engaged and informed workplace. As Torc continues to grow, we are seeking a talented internal communication professional proficient in change management. This individual will create innovative ways to effectively communicate information and transformation within the company, sustain our unique culture, and support talent goals in recruitment and retention by helping make Torc a destination employer. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, understands workplace learning styles, and is a skilled writer with exacting editorial standards. Additional responsibilities include:
- Driving an internal communications strategy that engages employees through multiple connections points in conjunction with corporate communication team, People Ops, Learning & Development and senior managers.
- Working closely with team leads to ensure all employees are well-informed of the company's goals, milestones, key messages and activities while being mindful of locations and roles.
- Planning, writing and editing content for a variety of internal communications mediums including tools, programs, training sessions and special events.
- Cultivating relationships across the organization to identify communication needs and discover, curate and share stories about our team, our technology, and our goals.
- Working with leaders and manage the Leadership Forum program to encourage learning, communication development and relationship building among Torc’s management community.
- Managing the Torc Ambassadors program to acquire feedback about various initiatives and develop company representatives that can effectively represent Torc and create excitement about Torc and our programs in various venues, channels and environments.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 8 years of experience in employee or internal communications. Experience partnering with technical teams a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related degree.
- Experience crafting messaging that motivates, informs, and inspires.
- Experience creating content for internal communication such as presentations, displays, or telecommunications.
- Experience running day-to-day internal social platforms and/or intranet platforms.
