Job Posting for Government Property Administrator at Torch Technologies, Inc.
Torch Technologies is seeking a Government Property Administrator.
The candidate will be responsible for following property procedures to track Government and Torch property in accordance with a Government approved property system. Conduct inventories and audits (internal and subcontractor). Responsible for following property control procedures to include tracking of all inventories, processing equipment turn-ins, and transfer of equipment. Responsible for drafting the necessary transfer paperwork, to include but not limited to, both corporate and Government forms (DD1149s, DD250s). Ensure that proper signatures are obtained, and final documentation is properly filed. The candidate will assist with updating, refining, and optimizing the property management process and document accordingly. Coordinate with program teams at satellite locations to ensure proper documentation and processes are followed. Ensure accordance with Torch’s quality systems; AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
This position requires the candidate to be able to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment, have outstanding customer service skills, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to perform data entry and prepare reports and correspondence. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of the Property Management team, contributing to Torch’s overall success.
Job Requirements:
Be able to prepare reports and correspondence
Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint is preferred
Working knowledge Government property disposition (PCARSS, PIEE) is preferred
NPMA Certification a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. ENTRY LEVEL position.
Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain and hold a final security clearance. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Located in Huntsville, AL.
