Job Title: TORO Food Concepts - Cap Hill
Job Summary:
TORO is a new restaurant concept in Capitol Hill providing fresh, local product as creative recipes to the most densely populated neighborhood in Denver. Our focus is on producing high-quality food in a clean and safe environment, and serving it with personality.
Due to increasingvolume, we are seeking to add a professional kitchen staff member to our team.
The best candidate would be a team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, possess experience at all stations (saute', grill, pantry, etc), and bring good customer service skills. We are a fast-Casual concept with fine dining standards and food presentation. Knowledge of health department regulations and proper food storage is preferred.
The position will include prep work, cooking, cleaning, taking orders and preparing beverages. This position combines front and back of house duties.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the business or an aspiring chef.
Hours of operation are Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday from 11am-8pm, and Friday-Saturday 11am-9pm (closed on Mondays). Starting pay is $16.00/hr plus tips (pooling system- Average is $7/hr). PM shifts are required, with a set schedule being preferred (so you can also have a life). One or two AM shifts are also possible.
