TORQUE3 IS SEEKING A CLINICAL QUALITY ASSISTANT

• Location: Centerville UT (office based) - just north of Salt Lake City.
• This position reports directly to the Clinical Quality Manager (CQM).

JOB OVERVIEW

Torque3 is seeking a bright and enthusiastic clinical assistant-type person to support the functional evaluation of our platform in a research study setting. This job is ideal for someone who would like to become a Clinical Research Coordinator or medical professional, but perhaps is just starting out in that field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the CQM and Technical Product Manager (TPM) in various tasks, from greeting FAE (Functional Abilities Evaluation) participants to helping them on/off the platform, to being able to plan/organize/prioritize around the participant’s schedule.
• Support the FAE participant by making them feel comfortable as much as possible before and after their session.
• Work with the CQM and TPM in collecting reliable and accurate FAE data and delivering such data to the TPM and CSO (Chief Science Officer).
• Perform clerical and administrative functions and facilitate flow of information between staff members and participants.
• Contribute to the support of the product, from being a platform operator to providing documentation for product utilization.
• We will train the right person in basic clinical coordinator skills. This includes:
• Working within Torque3 FAE, which would provide skills relevant to data collection in clinical trials.
• Engage with the clinical team to gather input, and disseminate updates, or changes to the evaluation plan.

QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED TRAITS

• Good interpersonal skills and team player
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in proper transfer techniques of impaired persons (highly desired)
• Background in medical services (highly desired)
• CPR/BLS/First Aid-certified (must provide proof of up-to-date certification or obtain within 1 month of hire)
• Highly proactive with good organizational skills
• Highly flexible and hard working
• Resilient under stress
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Clinical office or direct patient experience preferred
