Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing

The Role:
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be a key person responsible for keeping a hi-tech company running through the maintenance of plant production equipment and facility equipment.
In the job your will perform:

• Minor and major preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot down equipment working with outside technical support.
• Evaluate and perform limited programming of PLCs.
• Perform checks and repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Assist in the installation of equipment.
• Collaborate and at times take the lead on work projects.
• Make suggestions to the Supervisor on PM modifications based upon observations during unplanned repairs and predictive maintenance.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience, including vocational, technical training school or military training in performing preventative maintenance on production machinery, including CNC machines. as well as experience to inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
In addition, it is essential that you possess the ability to use and understand maintenance test and measurement equipment:

• Micrometers
• Calibrated steel tapes
• Calipers
• Industrial forklifts, table-lifts and cranes
• Ability read, understand and follow instructions from maintenance and service manuals.

Finally, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen test; Tosoh Quartz, Inc. is a federal contractor.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Tech role will have relevant experience of performing preventative maintenance on a variety of
manufacturing equipment ( CNC mills and lathes, polishers) machinery (ovens, automation and robotics), facilities equipment (HVAC, RO/DI water, cleanrooms, compressors, generators and water treatment). The candidate should have a strong desire to learn new technologies and systems to increase their contributions and knowhow.

The Package:
Basic salary: $24 - $32 per hour depending on experience
