OUR CLIENT, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Finance Controller to join their team in Albany, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a growing organization with a strong reputation in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, planning, costing, and other financial matters.
- Manage the activities of the corporate accounting department, ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports.
- Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and manage invoice funding.
- Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax compliance and annual audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure data integrity.
- Consolidate financial data for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Assist in special projects and compile reports as needed.
- Produce annual budgets and forecasts, reporting significant differences to management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven project management skills.
Salary:
- $110,000-$120,000 per year.
