A Day in the Life of A Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 6 Sales professionals via direct contact, as well as, outside, inside, and independent commission-based reps. You will also be responsible for expanding the Aviation-based Distributor and will also have P&L responsibility.
Requirements:
- Sales experience in aerospace electronics and manufacturing.
- The ability to travel and produce sales domestically, locally, and internationally and attend all trade shows.
- Familiar with Profit and Loss Financial statements and be able to discuss current and projected sales with a knowledge of analysis generation and implementation.
- Proficient with using sales tools including but not limited to Spreadsheets, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, BOM, Price Setting, and Costing. Experience with the ERP system NetSuites is a plus.
- Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
- Work closely with engineers, manufacturing, and Government regulatory administrations (FAA).
- The ability to work autonomously, and be self-directed, tactical, and strategic in meeting sales goals.
- Participate in 3 weekly sales meetings via MS Teams or Zoom.
- Attend one monthly onsite sales meeting at the company if not located in Wichita, KS.
