JOB DESCRIPTION:
Operate various types of processing equipment to cook and dry fresh seafood byproducts for fertilizer, pet food, aquaculture feed, and other markets.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES:
Dry fish protein and other wet products below 10% moisture.
Handle raw and cooked seafood products using an industrial truck, shovel, bucket, and hands.
Conduct product quality checks on raw and finished goods.
Sanitize all equipment and machinery.
Conduct routine safety checks on machinery .
Follow all sanitation policies and procedures.
Complete production documentation/logs.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
Must be able to work independently and self directed.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at a time.

EDUCATION:
Highschool diploma or GED.
Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Bilingual is preferred but not required.
