Total Home Roofing is seeking a highly motivated and dependable person looking for a long-term career to represent our company as an Assistant Bookkeeper.
A qualified applicant will have:
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
- Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
- Ability to work with a team and Independent with limited oversight
- Ability to take initiative
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:
- 5 years of related Accounts Payable experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detailed oriented and organized
- Construction Background a plus
- QuickBooks Experience a plus
- Oracle / NetSuite Package Experience a plus
- Heavy invoice entry into NetSuite Software
- Assign general ledger codes with department and location categories
- Initiate and process weekly check runs
- Ensure positive vendor relations and communications
- Assist with year end 1099 process
- Monthly invoice accruals
- Ensuring invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Verify I9 Information with new Vendor Set Up
- Regularly review and reconcile vendor accounts
- Other duties as assigned
