Responsibilities and Leadership Role:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Collect and update patient information, including medical records and insurance details
- Verify insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
- 1 years’ experience in a hospitality or medical environment.
- Experience with Healthcare call centers with a human touch, providing inbound and outbound communication like retail call centers, but focused entirely on patients' engagement.
- Experience in a diagnostic imaging environment and RIS-PACs (preferred, but not required).
- Knowledge of billing processes, including insurance verification and authorizations (preferred, but not required).
- Comfortable communicating solutions with patients in person or over phone call.
- Very friendly personality/ good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
