Income: With Total Nurses Network, you will earn $28 - $39/hour as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), which is based on job type and location of the shift or assignment. Plus, earn more through our loyalty and referral programs!
Location: Our office is in Lombard, with our headquarters in Chicago. We have clients throughout the Chicagoland Area and Suburbs! This provides you with more staffing options in order to offer shifts that are within your desired commuting preference.
```Duties:```
- Provide direct patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Document patient information, including medical history and progress notes.
- Perform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care and dressing changes.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as venipuncture and specimen collection processing.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and disease prevention.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
```Qualifications:```
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL.
- Minimum of one year of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
