What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Cleaner position at Total Orthopaedic Care?
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial and industrial cleaning tasks in various settings
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Use cleaning equipment and tools effectively and safely
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus
- Familiarity with custodial duties and facilities maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
