Certified Pharmacy Technician
Job Posting for Certified Pharmacy Technician at Total Pharmacy Services, Inc
APPLY IN PERSON AT THE PHARMACY.
Due to staff shortage, I will not be able to check Indeed throughout the day to respond to each individual application.
Pharmacy:
Answer the phone and office door in a professional manner. Clean and restock sterile areas daily. Fill all medication and infusion orders for the day. Coordinate deliveries for drivers. Restock all frequently used medications and supplies. Please orders for needed medications and supplies. Log and reconcile all CII scripts daily. Clean and dust pharmacy counters and shelves daily. Clean IV baskets daily. Bill all claims to various PBM's before meds are picked up or delivered daily. Scan all scripts into computer daily. File all scripts daily. Fulfill any task as needed by the pharmacist.
Compound Lab:
Answer the phone and door as a back up to the pharmacy tech. Complete list of scheduled compound medications for the day. Clean equipment after each use. Check compound list at the end of the day and order and chemicals needed to complete the next days schedule. File all logged formulas daily. Scan and file all scripts made daily. Post all payments made at the front counter daily and turn in with a daily cash log. Help with the medical and financial filing. Wash all dishes and equipment used in the lab for compounding daily. Clean and wipe down all counters. Fulfill any task as needed by the pharmacist.
Required work experience:
Must have Louisiana and National Tech certificate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
