Total Safety is looking for a Safety Technician to add to their safety conscious team. The Safety Technician cleans and inspects supplied air equipment, masks, scba's, and 5 min escape pack. Pay Range - $ 22.00

Must have a current TWIC card
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment
- Ability to learn how to service Safety Technical equipment
- Professional and neat appearance and positive attitude

- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
- Ability to pass background and drug/ alcohol test
Position responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries
- Clean, inspect, and service Safety Equipment
- Fill breathing air cylinders
- Issue safety equipment to customers
- Build positive customer relationships
- Restock inventory and maintain accurate counts
- Abide by specific customer contract agreements
- On call as needed- Some OT, nightshift, and weekends are required
- Perform other related duties as required

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task activities and shift priorities

- Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and gloves. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures. Industrial lighting provided. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal but can be greater when using equipment.
