Who We Are:
Total Sono provides OB/GYN ultrasound services, led by a network of board certified MFM consultants and backed by a team of certified ultrasound technologists, patient care liaisons and other industry experts.
Who You Are:
Total Sono is seeking a part-time Sonographer with at least 5 years of OB/GYN sonography experience. This person will work Saturday's and possibility of 1 day per week. This person must be able to work independently.
What You'll Do:
- Execute all varieties of obstetrical and gynecologic diagnostic ultrasound exams.
- Explain testing procedures to patients.
- Obtain and document appropriate medical history and pertinent information.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
- Utilize the PACS system to make images available to the interpreting physician and create preliminary written reports.
- Ensure that emergent exam results are verbally relayed promptly to the appropriate physician.
- Evaluate sonograms in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information.
- Communicate efficiently with on-site physicians/staff in a professional manner.
- Have a thorough knowledge of OB/GYN conditions, including appropriate timeframes needed to schedule follow up scans and related tests.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and supplies.
What You Bring:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registry
- Direct experience with OB/GYN highly desireable
- Must be able to complete Level 2 Anatomy Surveys and Nuchal Translucency Exams
