Do these types of challenges excite you? TSYS is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join the Data Engineering Group based in Noida. The Department is focused on the development and maintenance of various database applications supporting all of the TSYS Issuer Solutions Applications. The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in database design, PL/SQL development, and a good working knowledge of end-user and server-side data processing techniques. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter and conscientious programmer capable of building reusable software components. Responsibilities 90% PL/SQL development work and 10% Database Administration work 5 years of experience developing PL/SQL Oracle Technologies (e.g. complex views/joins, analytical functions, regular expressions, table partitioning, materialized views, distributed transactions) and Oracle SQL Performance/Tuning Advanced proficiency with PL/SQL Packages/Functions/Procedures programming and debugging, Oracle Collection and Object Types Develop business requirements into implementable architecture and designs Take ownership of certain systems and build reusable components and frameworks Maintain awareness of new Oracle features and techniques and develop an innate understanding of their application to develop robust, reliable, and high-performance solutions Ability to work independently, productively under pressure, and multi-task effectively Willing to take on-call Production rotation and occasional weekend work Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c and RAC experience Requirements 5 years of experience with detailed knowledge of data modelling principles, data engineering 5 years of work experience with Oracle PLSQL, Stored Procedures 3-5 years of experience developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining RDBMS databases preferably in Oracle and PostgreSQL. A good portion of this experience should come from working in and around cloud-based services. 2 years’ experience in any programming language like Python/Java is added advantage 2 years’ experience in jenkins, git, CI/CD pipelines 1 years of experience with AWS RDS services.
