Job Summary:
The certified Epic BI developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions for the organization using Epic's BI tools. They work closely with end-users to understand their data analysis needs and create meaningful insights from EHR data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Epic's BI tools
- Work with end-users to understand their data analysis needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements
- Design and develop data models to support business intelligence solutions
- Collaborate with the data integration team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements
- Maintain documentation and training materials for BI solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and healthcare IT.
Qualifications:
- Epic BI certification required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using Epic's BI tools
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
- Knowledge of healthcare data and clinical workflows
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
